At EVE I place great value on discretion, trust and care. In this privacy policy I explain which personal data is collected and how it is handled.

This is a translation of the Dutch privacy policy. In the event of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.

1. Controller of data processing

EVE Encounters B.V. is the controller for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Legal basis for processing

Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR.

Processing takes place on the basis of:

• legitimate interests, such as being able to provide our services with due care

3. Data collected when you visit the website

When you visit the website without actively leaving any details, only technical data is processed, such as:

• IP address
• date and time of the visit
• browser and device
• pages visited

This data is used solely to keep the website working properly and securely, and is not used to identify you personally.

4. Data for enquiries and bookings

When you get in touch or make an enquiry, the following data may be processed, among other things:

• name (or first name)
• email address
• telephone number
• information about your wishes or booking

This data is used solely to handle your enquiry with due care and to make the service possible.

Providing additional information is always voluntary.

5. Correspondence (email, WhatsApp, form)

When you get in touch by email, WhatsApp or the contact form:

• your details are used to answer your question
• relevant correspondence is retained temporarily for proper follow-up

Data is not kept longer than necessary, unless this is legally required or needed to carry out an appointment.

Feedback may only be used in anonymised form.

Personal data is shared only where this is necessary to carry out an appointment or is legally required.

EVE does not provide data to third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Retention period

Personal data is not kept longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a statutory retention period applies.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your data
• have your data corrected
• have your data erased
• restrict the processing
• have your data transferred
• withdraw your consent

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

9. Cookies

The website uses cookies to improve its operation and the user experience.

You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please bear in mind that this may affect how the website works.

10. Security

EVE takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

Data is handled with care and secured against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

11. Changes

This privacy policy may be amended from time to time. The most current version is always available on the website.
